Recently, Marikina has flooded again due to continuous heavy rains that affected thousands of families. As a result, SMNI, CJFI, SPM headed by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy once again distributed aid to Marikina residents. The groups assisted flood victims caused by incessant rains due to typhoon Fabian.
November last year, when volunteers first went for the victims of typhoon Ulysses in Brgy. Sto. Niño, Marikina. And on July 27, 2021, the group went to the Barangay Malanday and gave help to its residents to heal their hearts and minds.
Apart from the threat posed by typhoon Fabian and the Covid 19-pandemic, it will also be strenuous to find food every day for the residents. strenuous
Approximately 300 families from the said barangay. Foods and market items: gas, canned goods, cooking ingredients, pancit, water, Covid-19 Health kits, and many more were given.
The residents’ experience of sorrows and apprehension was replaced with joy and smiles.
Galilee Purified Drinking Water also joined. One of the sponsors handed out dozens of bottled waters to the family. Beneficiaries also received food packs.
Apart from the aid, CJFI also distributed toys and school supplies for the children.
In conjunction with the Basic Health Protocols against the Covid-19 pandemic, the said efforts of CJFI, SMNI, SPM, and Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, carried out successfully.
Indeed, no time or obstacle can stop the unity of the group from giving hope to those in distress, especially the victims of the recent storm.
