It’s that time of the year again when everybody extends their love, kindness and generosity to other people around the globe. For 23 years, CJFI never stopped reaching marginal and destitute children and adults nationwide. In line with this, the CJFI together with RPQ Foundation held a Community Outreach program in Caloocan City, Philippines last December 24 and 25, 2021.
To give hope and joy to the less fortunate children this Christmas season, CJFI in partnership with the RPQ Foundation spearheaded by Mrs. Mila Quiburin. The preparation was held on the 24th of December at CJFI QC Center with the help of the CJFI Staff and beneficiaries. They were excited to give gifts to the children who also needed help as they did before. They also practiced their presentation for the kids.

On the 25th of December, the CJFI Outreach team together with the RPQ Foundation representatives went to Caloocan City to conduct the said program. They hosted games such as “Bring me,” “Balloon Popping,” “Siomai, Siopao, Suman,” “Bingo,” and “Trip to Jerusalem.”
After the exciting fun games, they rested and enjoyed the caroling performance of the CJFI beneficiaries via Zoom. Afterward, the most awaited part of the program, the Gift Giving took place in both community and CJFI QC residential centers. Receiving gifts from other people is another kind of happiness. As soon as they received their gifts, their gratefulness and joy were visible. The day did not just end there, CJFI and RPQ Foundation also gave lunch to the kids.

This program was made possible because of warm and kind-hearted people who continuously support the cause of the Foundation. CJFI was very grateful and blessed because, over the years, many individuals, businesses, and institutions have been very generous and supportive of its ardent desire to give love to destitute children, enabling them to achieve their dreams and guide their lives to become productive and actively contributing members of our society.
