In early March, a burning fire turned a hundred homes into ashes. The fire was set ablaze in Agdao, Davao City, Philippines. It affected almost five hundred families in Purok IPK and San Jose, the two most affected areas in barangay Duterte. The victims felt distressed watching their homes fade. All of the people were safe, but the fire wiped out all their properties. Gyms for recreational activities turned into dust. Burnt hopes with the unbelievable sight of the blazing fire. A distant memory of which they call home.
Thankfully, on March 13, 2021, Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. joined forces with Sonshine Philippines Movement (SPM) and Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI), led by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy. Send help to fire victims of Agdao, Davao City.
They give out heavy buckets full of goods, gallons of water, clothes, and even toys!
Volunteers from these various organizations never cease to propagate goodness as they spend overnight to prepare goods and water for the relief operation.
The victims cannot suppress their gratitude for the outpouring help of everyone who made this event possible, especially to Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.
They greatly appreciated the help. That in these trying times, there are still people who genuinely care. It might not sustain everyone forever that it simply gave them hope and courage to rise again.
After the rain, there’s a rainbow. After a storm, there’s calm. After the night there’s a morning. And after an end, there’s a new beginning. — unknown
