CJFI 2022 Annual Report is Now Available

Last updated on June 26, 2023 by CJFI Editorial Team

The Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. has spent its last 24 years helping underprivileged children all around the country. We have collaborated with governmental organizations over the years as part of their social arm on a range of initiatives to support children’s rights and provide them with access to services that are suitable for their needs. The values of love, compassion, and generosity promoted by our founding president, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy remain a very important foundation to us.

Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. is glad to share its success this year. The Residential Based Support Program reached its target number of clients served with an overall total of 114 (one hundred fourteen) in our (5) five residential centers. Among all, the Davao Residential Center has the largest number of admitted children followed by the Laguna Residential Center while the Cebu Residential Center, Quezon Residential Center, and Pampanga follow respectively. Furthermore, the Community-Based Support Program served 1500 families in disaster response and 275 for its Balik Eskwela Program.

This year, the CJFI also sustained its accreditation levels through re-accreditations from DSWD. Our Davao Residential Center sustained its Level 3 accreditation or Center of Excellence, Pampanga Residential Center had Level 2 accreditation, Quezon City residential center has Level 2 accreditation and our Cebu and Laguna Centers maintained their Level 3 and Level 2 accreditation respectively. We will continue to strive hard to serve beyond the standard of providing quality services to our beneficiaries.

Human Resources play a vital role in every organization. The foundation has been exerting much effort to equip its staff with training and engage them in continuous professional training that will enhance their skills and knowledge. The foundation also values the professional growth of every staff and the hard work they are displaying by giving promotions, incentives, and salary increases.

Despite the pandemic, CJFI was able to maintain the program implementation through its major benefactor the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Inc. by providing 60% of the program’s operational cost. In addition, loyal sponsors/donors and individuals who have the same mission as the organization have also provided in-kind and cash donations. Truly, we are indeed grateful for this kind of partnership we had.

Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. envisioned helping more children, families, and communities across the country in the upcoming years.

Residential Based Support Programs

What started as a dream to reach out to more underprivileged children continues to materialize today as more residential care facilities are established across the country. CJFI currently operates five (5) 24-hour residential care centers for abandoned, orphaned, neglected and dependent children under the guidance of trained staff.

More children beneficiaries are placed under CJFI's care with the support and assistance of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Community Based Support Programs

CJFI expanded its services through community-based programs that are initiated in different poor barangays and communities in the Philippines such as the provision of Day Care Centers and school supplies for the disadvantaged children to facilitate their early development years, supplemental feeding programs, medical and dental services, and other community projects. Since 2013, CJFI's disaster response initiatives have helped thousands of families who were victims of fire, typhoon, flood, and/or earthquake through relief operations in the calamity-stricken areas.
