CJF Pampanga beneficiaries spent summer creating flowers and butterflies.
Butterflies and flowers are like your dearest friends: a warmth in your despair.
On April 3, 2020, CJFI Pampanga beneficiaries feel the warmth of summer. Practical Skill Development Officer (PSDO) Ms. Josephine R. Layug prepared a Tissue Paper Roll and Butterfly Wall Art Activity that would allow the children to express their youth for this season.
Ms. Josephine divided the children into three(3) groups and assigned a leader for each. Each group has to create four (4) flowers: pink, blue, yellow, and lavender. They needed to have teamwork. Leaders gave everybody a task to finish.
Ms. Josephine gave the instructions and materials. She then gave the beacon to the kids to create their flowers. The kids were very participative, interested, and happy doing their work. They designed their flowers with paper-cut butterflies.
Everyone was very gratified to see their finished product that makes the place lively and colorful. They learned that doing together can finish work easier and faster. The activity built their creativity, patience to work, and good relationships with each other.
