Last August 30-31, 2021, the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. held its 11th Annual Convention virtually. Key staff from CJFI’s five child care residential centers in Davao, Cebu, Quezon, Pampanga, Laguna and CJFI’s main office, took part in the said event.
The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for operational assessment, strategic organizational direction, and equipping personnel with the essential and timely knowledge to help them respond more effectively to the challenges posed by CJFI’s recent goals.
Discussed during the two-day annual convention are the CJFI (a) Administrative updates, (b) Program updates, (c) Best Practices, and (d) Strategic Plan presentation.
Some programs and seminars to be conducted for the year 2022 have been discussed: Partner Day Care centers improvements, Sustainability of Computer Literacy Program, Community-Based Support Programs, Strengthening CJFI’s Resource Mobilization and marketing.
Interactive virtual activities and games were prepared for the participants wherein everyone joined and actively participated.
The 11th Annual Convention came to a close with a comprehensive action plan for the next months and years. CJFI is ever relentless in its cause to change the world, one child at a time. Thus, it opts to continue improving its services and programs to be able to reach out more to the children who need them most.
