CJFI Quezon City Family celebrated the Love Month last February 14, 2020, at the CJFI Activity Area. The celebration was an offer to the untiring, loving, supportive, and helping hand of CJFI Staff for its beneficiaries.
Children help on the valentine’s decorations at the ground with the assistance of Ms. Lizlie Sanchez (Center Head), and Ms. Princes Honorio (Practical Skills Development Office), who did the arts and crafts.
The Activity Area was decorated and filled with the presence of Valentine’s Day was designed by the kids. Younger ones helped in cutting and pasting the heart-shape out of construction papers while bigger kids arranged the decorations.
Ms. Cherry Mae Bristol (Center’s Social Worker) initiated the plan to set a surprise for the staff. Kids wore their red-colored shirts and handed their flowers and ready-made cards with sincere messages in it to extend their love.
While the staff were having their meal, Ms. Princes and Ms. Ana Malabanan (School-in-Charge) prepared the music. From the Computer Laboratory, kids came out and requested the staff to dance with them. They greeted them and gave them presents.
CJFI staff appreciated the surprise and efforts, granting that it was simple, yet it was meaningful to them. The kids were happy for the chance given to them to express their gratitude for the unconditional love CJFI Staff has towards them.
During the celebration, the staff reaps the love they have given to the children. The staff and children show their love to each other as the program ended successfully and joyfully.
