Day 2 on November 14 was even more fun-filled when the topic covered was “Typing”. The Project OIC introduced them to Typing Master 10 which is an application that teaches the proper finger placement on the keyboard. Each student was rated with their onset typing speed and their final speed.
The third session on November 21 tackled Microsoft Word and its proper usage. Basic shortcuts in Word such as CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+A and CTRL+S were discussed.
Students also played with the office application by creatively exploring different font sizes and styles. For example, one of their many exercises was to type a paragraph about them while applying their learning from the previous lessons. By the third week, they were typing at a faster rate.
Their last day on November 28 was the distribution of the Certificates of Completion to all participants. CJFI also received a Certificate of Appreciation from Canlubang Elementary School.
